About me
I’m an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist based in North London.
I have a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy from The Minster Centre, the UK’s leading institute for integrative counselling and psychotherapy.
I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I’m guided by their ethical framework. I’m also a member of The Relational School.
I have over ten years’ experience in research, advocacy, and social justice in the UK and Australia. As a migrant myself, I have a long-standing interest in migration, displacement, and belonging. I’m interested in both the meaning of individual experience, and the broader social, economic and political factors that shape our lives.
I have a PhD in climate change and international law, and I worked for 8 years alongside people in immigration detention in the UK. This means I’ve got to know people from all walks of life who are struggling with a range of issues, including anxiety, trauma, displacement, discrimination, loss, bereavement, hearing voices, self-harm, despair, perfectionism, and more.
I am passionate about recognising and valuing diverse experiences of all kinds, and I'm committed to an ongoing examination of my own assumptions and biases so that these do not get in the way of our work together. I welcome people of every gender, sexuality, relationship orientation, ethnicity, neurodivergence, and disability.
