About me
I’m an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist based in North London.
I have a Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy from The Minster Centre, the UK’s leading institute for integrative counselling and psychotherapy.
I’m a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I’m guided by their ethical framework. I’m also a member of The Relational School.
I have over ten years’ experience in research, advocacy, and social justice in the UK and Australia. As a migrant myself, I have a long-standing interest in migration and belonging. I’m interested in both the meaning of individual experience, and the broader social, economic and political factors that shape our lives.
I have a PhD in climate change and international law, and I worked from 2012-2019 with people in immigration detention. This means I’ve got to know people from all walks of life who are struggling with a range of issues, including anxiety, trauma, displacement, discrimination, loss, bereavement, hearing voices, self-harm, despair, perfectionism, and more.
